A criminal case has been opened against a well-known Russian blogger, Alexander Shpak, who wanted to renounce his Russian citizenship. He was accused of “discrediting the Russian army” and supporting Ukraine. So, this is the second case that incriminated Shpak.
“The case against Shpak was opened on March 12 in the investigative department of the Central Administrative District of Moscow. On August 15 last year, Shpak was already brought to administrative responsibility under the article on discrediting the army of the Russian Federation in his posts on Telegram-channel, and a repeated violation entails a criminal case,” – goes the rosSM
According to propagandists, he “lightens” up to 5 years in prison, although Shpak has not lived in Russia for a long time and is with his family abroad.
The man reacted to such news on Instagram.
“Here comes a new criminal case, which was launched against me in the Rashist p*doratsiya….. I am against the war in Ukraine and do not live in the Russian Federation,” he specified.
Shpak specified that there is also a third criminal case – on extremism and terrorism, as well as sponsorship of the AFU. But about this, the authorities, for some reason, do not announce.
“According to my data, this case was opened immediately after I announced it, that is, in late January – early February,” – said Shpak.
