Ukrainian actress Kateryna Tyshkevych shared an unpleasant story of how she got from Warsaw to Wroclaw with an aggressive and unfriendly Ukrainian driver. The cab driver arrived in an old car, which stalled a couple of times.
Along with her, there were other passengers in the auto. They began to argue with the driver, but the actress did not understand the subject of the dispute. It turned out that the driver started making unkind remarks about her and Ukraine, and the passengers got into an argument with him and defended Ukraine and her homeland.
“He started yelling and pointing his finger at me; there were already words understandable to me, such as “k*rva Ukrainian” and another mat. I turned to the girls in English; they explained that he made an unimportant comment about Ukraine and me personally,” Tyshkevych said.
The cab driver was pleased that the girl did not understand Polish and expected that the Polish female passengers would share his views, but it turned out to be different.
The driver even threatened to drop the girls off on the way but, fortunately, did not dare to do so. “The Pole’s aggression horrified us all. He accused me of everything. Livid hatred for Ukrainians…,” Tyszkiewicz added.
